There is a group of 4 tetrads that should support some interesting species. And there are some intriguing old records to follow up, e.g. Amblystegium confervoides recorded by Smith at Ewenny Park.

Having said that, we don't seem to be very good at organising these planned group visits! I should be down in that area on a fairly regular basis over the winter so I'll be able to do some solo recording in any case.

Barry - thanks for the tip about the Cololejeunea species - I wasn't aware of those.GMThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08759152282751126808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1572836115424987671.post-9961077570553955432015-12-03T23:36:17.965+00:002015-12-03T23:36:17.965+00:00PS worth checking patches of Marchesinia for Colol...PS worth checking patches of Marchesinia for Cololejeunea - I've seen rosettiana growing amongst its leaves in sheltered sites and I think calarea might do the same in drier sites.Barry Stewarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12080358305675651314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1572836115424987671.post-64043949357027821592015-12-03T23:25:34.372+00:002015-12-03T23:25:34.372+00:00It's an area where a group visit might prove r...It's an area where a group visit might prove rewarding.
