A substantial population of a small
Riccia drew out attention this afternoon while we were heading along a newly created forest track which bisects a Larch clear-fell in the Pelenna conifer plantation (near Ton Mawr). We've seen
R. subbifurca on South Gower before but this is new for NPT as far as I'm aware.
Well spotted, Charles. I've seen it on a forestry track in the BBNP, plus a few other inland sites in S Wales, but R subbifurca is scarce and unpredictable here.
