Campylopus maps

Here are a few maps based on the MapMate data set for general interest. They give an idea of survey progress and possibly the need, for me at least, to get a better understanding of Campylopus species.

  1. As you can see Graham there's no sign of your your Gower record of atrovirens

  2. Whose is the Campylopus brevipilus from SS79? I think that will need checking as it's a very rare moss indeed. There are 4 hectad-only records in the BBS data, which surprises me.

  4. NB. The long number is the SEWBReC reference which enables them to track records on their system. Sounds like these may need editing out?

  5. Thanks Barry - please mark those C brevipilus records as probably erroneous. Unlikely to be made by a critical recorder.
