Anyway, there are 130,000 bryophyte records from Carms and Pembs in my dataset, 1900 of which have Tarmac as substrate. Rather few species are regular and the 'tail' of one-offs is very long.

ReplyDeleteI should see if I can find Marchantia polymorpha ruderalis on tarmac in Cardiff. It's really common on flagged pavements but might creep onto tarmac in places...
