Over a year late but yes, it looks good for O. jungermanniarum. I can check it microscopically if you still have it - yours may be the first UK record but I would need a voucher to separate it from similar Nectria species. Found it today at two sites in Devon so must be overlooked. George
Mark Evans has kindly suggested it might be Octosporella jungermanniarum and I can't find any reason to doubt him.
